Dr. Geoff Peal
Dr. Geoff Peal is a clinical psychologist that works with athletes and performers of all ages. He attended University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and Nova Southeastern University for his doctorate. Dr. Geoff has participated at the recreational level in basketball, flag football, volleyball, softball, and currently participates in weight lifting and running activities. He also ran Cross Country and Track for Jesuit High School in Tampa. Dr. Geoff also has an interest in competitive gaming performance and the specific needs related to E-sports. He has experience in competitive games such as League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch, CS:GO,Valorant, and others over the past 17 years across a variety of platforms. He enjoys working with individuals and teams in all of these areas and has worked with athletes in a variety of other sports such as hockey, golf and wrestling. Dr. Geoff uses evidence-based strategies to create better focus and helps athletes and performers reduce performance anxiety and build better strategies to cope with high-pressure situations, team-building, and helps coaches get the most out of their players.
Dr. Geoff is also the Chief Technology Officer at Family Psychology Associates (www.fampsy.org) and works in therapy with teens and adults with a variety of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other concerns in the area of mental health. He has been licensed as a practicing psychologist since 2014.
